There are your white collar and blue collar jobs, which are mutually exclusive.
The emergence of green technology and green collar jobs blurs this distinction,
crossing over into both camps.
It’s a booming time for green jobs, so much so that it seemed appropriate to unveil
a new department series for 2010 that shines a light on specific green
positions and how they fit into the scheme of supporting renewable and
brownfield initiatives.

A property located on a bank of the East River and in a densely developed residential and commercial area, had its work cut out for it from an environmental remediation standpoint. The mission was to clean up the land and ultimately make one puzzle piece to a larger urban revitalization project that would be redeveloped as a public library and park ranger station.
