Regional Overview
Exciting things are happening in the Southern Region. From legislative updates to cutting-edge projects, the region is a bevy of activity and we are excited to present you with the latest.

We have revamped the layout of the Projects section to make it more informative and provide you with a more comprehensive project snapshot. We also introduce you to some individuals from states like North Carolina, Florida, Georgia and South Carolina, who are blazing trails in the brownfield and green building world. Lastly, we present some interesting policy changes that are taking effect in the region.

In keeping with our spotlight on the Southern Region, we decided to take a closer look at Georgia, and how its brownfield development programs have evolved and some of the nuances that are unique to that state. For this additional insight, we’ve tapped Martin Shelton, a Georgia-based attorney, who founded his firm’s Environmental Practice group.
