On May 25, the NYC Brownfield Partnership will host its third annual Big Apple Brownfield Awards Ceremony at the NYU School of Law. The Partnership will recognize five of New York City’s most outstanding Brownfield redevelopment projects. Registration to attend the ceremony must be performed by Monday May 16. The Ceremony will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Greenberg Lounge in the NYU School of Law at 40 Washington Square South, New York, NY. Registration to attend the ceremony must be completed by Monday May 16.
In addition to the Big Apple Brownfield Awards program, the NYC Brownfield Partnership provides services that include Brownfield Internships, The Abbey Duncan Brownfield Scholarships Program, and coming soon, the Partnership will also provide Pro-Bono Community Counseling and a Pro-Bono Consulting Referral Program.
About The NYC Brownfield Partnership
The NYC Brownfield Partnership is a voluntary association of Brownfield stakeholders consisting principally of environmental consulting firms, environmental law organizations, environmental remediation contracting organizations, Brownfield development organizations, and community-based organizations (Member Organizations) that conduct Brownfield activities in New York City communities. The mission of the New York City Brownfield Partnership is to provide leadership to the brownfield community throughout New York City by serving as the primary resource for information on brownfields and brownfields redevelopment in NYC; Fostering collaborative relationships among brownfield developers, property owners, government agencies, and community groups; Advancing public awareness and understanding of benefits, opportunities, and best practices of brownfield redevelopment; Promoting excellence in brownfield redevelopment by honoring successful brownfield projects; and Supporting education and training of brownfield professionals, workers, and students.
