Renewal Awards

Brownfield Renewal Renewal Awards Most of us like to give credit where credit is due. To that end, we'll accept Renewal Awards' nominations until Friday, June 4, 2010, and culminating in the selection of three esteemed winners in October 2010. Awards will then be presented to projects that represent the gold standard of development across three distinct industry spheres of influence. The three categories are:

  • Environmental impacts
  • Economic impacts
  • Social impacts

The Renewal Awards selection process - carried out by an independent panel of judges - is supremely democratic, as any individual, group, company, organization, government body or agency is eligible to submit an application. These projects can encompass:

  • Private enterprise
  • Public facilities
  • Industrial reuse of a brownfields site
  • Environmental restoration.

We invite you to provide input on the characteristics that made your project so impactful, so difference-making. For your convenience, we've compiled a host of questions within each of the three categories. The insights you provide will duly assist us in selecting the Renewal Award winners. The deadline for submissions has been extended from Tuesday, June 1, 2010 to Friday, June 4, 2010. In order to be considered for a Brownfield Renewal Award, the brownfield redevelopment project MUST be completed by the date the application is submitted. We welcome your participation!
