Has the Green Bubble Burst?

With the price of gas dropping faster than a bank stock heavily invested in sub-prime loans, people are beginning to ask, Has the green bubble bust? Ford Motor Company announced last month that they are adding 1,000 new jobs to their F-150 plant to ramp up production, to meet increased demand for their pickup trucks, due to lower gas prices.
Left solely to market economics, green behavior will not happen without complementary policy initiatives. Will the Obama administration invest in green build technologies, clean renewable energy sources and promote brownfield redevelopment? Or will these issues take a back seat to the economy, health care, foreclosures and the Afghanistan/ Iraq wars? I have the perfect laboratory to put this to the test.
